Rico Tico Tours began with a simple idea. Travel should bring people closer to nature and to each other.

What started as a few friends guiding small groups through the reefs and rainforests of Puerto Viejo grew into a community movement that now reaches Cahuita, Playa Negra, Manzanillo, and beyond!

We created this company because we wanted visitors to experience Costa Rica’s Caribbean coast in a real and meaningful way. Our tour company is built on connection, conservation, and love for the land we call home. Every tour is designed to help guests slow down, feel the rhythm of this place, and understand why we care so deeply about it.
